| My main interest in Amateur Radio has always been building
Homebrew equipment. My opinion has always been, if you
understand a circuit then you should be able to build it and have it
perform within the design parameters. I have spent my whole
life testing this theory and in the process expanded my knowledge of
electronics to the point where I realize there is much more to
learn. It is the learning and challenges associated with
making the circuit perform properly that has kept my interest in
this hobby for 53 years, My preferred mode of operating is CW.; I operate about 95% CW and the remaining 5% is spent ragchewing with old friends and new acquaintances that share the same interests as I but often different view points. |
