W7JI Computer Audio Interface

Model TX-2

This is the TX-2 Computer Audio Interface Board.  It is designed to interface between your computer sound card input and output and provide professional quality audio.  The circuit receives a stereo un-balanced audio input and sums the left and right channel audio to mono.  This mono signal is then amplified to a level of '0' db and fed to one of the output jacks as a 10K, unbalanced output.

The same mono signal is used to drive a second audio stage to produce a 600 ohm balanced audio output which is fed to the second audio output jack.  Ths TX-2 can be used to take receiver audio and boost the level to '0' db to feed external recording equipment or interface your computer sound card to professional or semi-professional audio processing equipment.
